Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift – LA Plant

 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
This position is responsible for the activities of the department, including timely completion of product batches in accordance with GMP, HACCP and safety guidelines, working in cooperation with all other departments, promoting information exchange and teamwork within the department. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Obtain forms, batch sheets and special instructions from the Production Scheduler or QC for the day’s production.
  • Assign work to production personnel and ensure timely completion of scheduled activity and all paperwork associated with batches for HACCP, sanitation, etc.
  • Maintain familiarity with company policies and procedures pertaining to Quality Manual, Food Security/Food Defense, Sanitation, cGMPs and HACCP/Food Safety.

Accounts Payable – Pacoima Plant

 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
This position is mainly responsible for processing vendor invoices; procuring proper approvals; scheduling payment and processing the weekly check runs. The AP Coordinator is responsible for periodic review of the accounts payable activity and maintain a current AP aging report and reconcile the account to the General Ledger balance. Is also responsible for verifying inventory receipts and preparing month-end accruals. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Process invoices for inventory and other supplies by matching suppliers invoices against purchase orders and receiving records (3-Way Match).
  • Voucher and process all other invoices with the proper approvals.
  • Scan all vendor invoices to Doclink and index the necessary data.

The International Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the shipment of raw materials and finished goods to locations to and from the US. The position performs the duties of maintaining all buildings and structures and assisting mechanics as needed to keep production equipment in top condition and working order. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Assists with planning and performance of maintenance work when requested.
  • Works under the direction of Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Lead to keep the buildings in good condition, with repairs made as necessary.
  • Works with others in all technical applications, such as installations of new equipment when needed.
  • Responsible for reporting necessary repairs.
  • Responsible for completing daily time sheets.
  • May be called to come into work while off-duty, as emergencies arise.
  • Follows departmental policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be physically able to perform strenuous work, with lifting up to 50 pounds, and bending, kneeling and climbing frequently throughout the day.
