As one of the largest flavor manufacturers and juice processors in the United States, AFF is focused on not only developing, formulating, and manufacturing innovative and quality juice and flavor solutions but also identifying opportunities in sustainability.
Our commitment to responsible and sustainable practices can be seen in all parts of our daily business from product development to packaging processes. Over the past several years, we have embedded resource efficient equipment and renewable energy into our operations to manage our usage and/or output of energy, water, and waste and will continue to do so as we work to mitigate our environmental impacts.
We promote safety in our workplace and comply with applicable health and safety requirements to minimize risk of accidents, injury or any workplace health hazards and coordinate with regulatory agencies on a regular basis to ensure protection of our employees’ health and safety.
We support our customers by pursuing stringent quality control, as exemplified by our numerous certifications that meet or exceed industry-specific standards, such as Quality Assurance International (QAI) Certified Organic and Safe Quality Food (SQF).
We also complete an EcoVadis Sustainability Assessment annually. EcoVadis has grown to be one of the most trusted providers of business sustainability ratings, and we strive to make continuous improvements in all aspects of our business based on our EcoVadis score.
