General Description of Duties
Are you a passionate safety professional ready to make a real impact? We’re looking for a proactive and experienced EHS Lead to champion our environmental, health, and safety programs across the organization. If you're driven by continuous improvement, regulatory excellence, and building a strong safety culture, this is your opportunity to lead from the front.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead & Elevate: Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
- Identify & Prevent: Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and hazard analyses to proactively reduce risks.
- Investigate & Improve: Lead root cause analyses for incidents and near misses and drive corrective actions.
- Train & Empower: Deliver impactful EHS training to boost awareness and compliance across teams.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with operations, engineering, and maintenance to embed EHS into daily operations.
- Track & Report: Analyze EHS data, monitor trends, and report key metrics to leadership.
- Be Prepared: Coordinate emergency response programs and drills.
- Support Sustainability: Contribute to waste reduction and environmental initiatives.
- Mentor & Guide: Provide technical support and leadership to EHS Assistants and site personnel.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 3–5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
- CSP, CIH, or similar certification (preferred).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management systems.
- Flexibility to travel to company facilities on short notice.
